Ceramic Basket

K5-8th grade — $25

Participants will make handmade ceramic clay baskets with decorative leaves and flowers in 2 sessions. Session 1 on March 2 will roll out clay ropes to create a handmade coil basket and tour see the kiln. Session 2 on March 16 will paint the glaze coat in various color options. The projects will be fired in the kiln after each class.

Art on the Porch class meets at Kim’s house, 201 Sutton Way, Irmo. We will be outside, but masks are also recommended. Wear comfortable clothing, that you don’t mind getting paint on.
