Pencil in some time to work on foundational drawing techniques in this one-day workshop. Students experiment with pencil, charcoal, and conté crayon and take an in-depth exploration of proportions and value and textural contrasts.

Taught by Mary Hendrix, who holds a bachelor’s degree in art from East Tennessee State University and a master’s degree in teaching from the University of South Carolina.

Ages 15 and up. All materials and equipment provided.
