Students discover how to build games and solve real-world problems with App Inventor. Through creating mobile apps, students explore fundamental computer science concepts such as conditional statements, modeling with mathematical equations, and event handling. In the process of developing an original app, they learn about effective user interface and design principles.
This is a 60 minute, drop-in style class. With no set curriculum, each class is different and each instructor has their own unique style of teaching. This is a non-sequential course and students work on a different project during each 60 minute session.
