It’s time to celebrate with one of our favorite holiday traditions: Decorating Gingerbread Houses!

Pre-built graham cracker houses are provided, with royal icing for each participant. Participants bring a bag of colorful candy or other edible decorative item to share “potluck style”. Carry home your finished houses.

Location: Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Columbia, 2701 Heyward St, Columbia, SC 29205
Seating is limited, so we’re offering two sessions: Morning 10-noon OR Afternoon 1-3 pm.

Note: While the houses/decorations are all edible, most people don’t actually eat their masterpieces. It’s recommended to be for decorative purposes only. Contact Kim with questions about allergies or dietary concerns: [email protected]

Bring a bag of colorful candy or other decorative item. M&M’s, Skittles, Smarties, licorice whips, gum drops, red hots, Sixlets, Starburst, Fruit Stripe gum, Necco wafers, gummy bears, Starlight mints, candy canes and lots more. Marshmallows, chocolate chips, cereal, pretzels, even leftover Halloween candy works.

Bring a box to carry home your finished house/houses. Especially if you have young children or multiple children.

Bring some cash or debit/credit card to shop at the pop-up consignment sale, too!
